Biography
Ritmo is a solo project by Dubi Dagan (33), who lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel and has been playing a leading role in the Israeli Trance scene for many years now.
Dubi began his musical career playing guitar at age 15, exploring many genres until discovering electronic music in 1996, and becoming familiar with the Trance scene while traveling in Japan, U.S.A and India, among others. From 2003 to 2005, Dubi had a key role in Bionics Records as the label's PR person and office manager, and worked with the label on its most famous party line at the Luna Club, Haifa, Israel every Thursday as a resident DJ.
From January 2005 Dubi began work as Ritmo, releasing several tracks through various labels. In may 2008 Dubi compiled a successful compilation, "Grand Slam", released by Iono Music, immediately followed by his debut album "Disharmonic Silence", an album presenting his own progressive trance style which has been highly praised by critics and fans alike. The album was followed by a successful tour, including gigs at major parties and festivals around the globe (Fusion Festival, Spirit Base, Aurora, etc.).
After many releases on labels like Iono Music, Iboga Records, Blue Tunes Records, Spin Twist Records, Y.S.E Records, Hadra Records, etc. and multiple remixes for top artists such as Vibrasphere, Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul and Aerospace Dubi released his remixes album: “Archive 9” in November 2009 on Iono Music.
Dubi, aka Ritmo, has also a collaborate project called Ritree with Alon Brilant aka Suntree.
